At Milborne, we consider keeping our children safe of the utmost importance. It is the duty and responsibility of everyone to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in our school. Effective safeguarding of children and young people should ensure that we are protecting them from abuse or neglect, getting the right support in place as early as possible and creating an environment in which children and young people feel safe. We all have a personal responsibility to notice when a child or young person may be at risk of harm and pass our concerns on to someone who can act to protect them.
Our staff and governors have been trained in safeguarding and have taken part in Prevent and FGM training. Please take time to look at our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and our Staff Code of Conduct on our school policies page.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our safeguarding leads who will be able to provide you with support and advice.
